Saudi Arabia announced that airports in the cities of Najran and Jizan were targeted during renewed clashes with Houthi rebels in Yemen, resulting in three minor injuries and damage to the facilities.

Attack on Airports

The General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that the airports in the cities of Najran and Jizan were targeted, causing damage to both facilities and resulting in three minor injuries.

The Iran-backed Yemeni Houthi rebels publicly announced that they launched missiles and drones toward the kingdom.

Military Interventions and Missiles

Houthi Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated on Tuesday that they fired a missile toward a third airport.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen reported on Tuesday that a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward Khamis Mushait was intercepted and destroyed.

Strait of Hormuz and Gaza Incidents

On Monday, an outbound tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz was struck by an as-yet-unidentified object.

Meanwhile, two separate Israeli airstrikes in Gaza resulted in the deaths of two people in Gaza City.

Situation in the West Bank and East Jerusalem

During the olive harvest season in the West Bank, an AFP photojournalist reported being beaten by Israeli settlers.

Additionally, Israeli authorities carried out the demolition of a five-story building in East Jerusalem.
