Cardinal Joseph Zen, Denise Ho, Hui Po Keung, Margaret Ng, and Cyd Ho served as trustees of the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund, which covered legal and medical expenses for individuals arrested in the 2019 protests.
Violation of the Societies Ordinance
The defendants were found guilty in 2022 for violating the Societies Ordinance, which requires local organizations to register or apply for exemption within one month of their establishment.
