In a statement on a radio program, US President Donald Trump stated that Iran's leader Mojtaba Khamenei, whose whereabouts have been the subject of speculation for months, was seriously injured but he believes is still alive.

Mojtaba Khamenei took the leadership seat following the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a joint US-Israeli attack. The new leader has not been seen at all and no photograph of him has been published in the six-month period since he took office.

US President Donald Trump was a telephone guest on radio host Glenn Beck's program. In his assessment, Trump emphasized that he does not think Khamenei is dead.
Trump stated that Khamenei was very seriously injured on the left side of his body, his arm, and his leg.

Mojtaba Khamenei's long absence from the cameras had increased claims that he was dead or could not fully hold the administration. Iranian officials, on the other hand, continue to maintain that he is at the head of the country.
While the Fars news agency recently shared an old video where his voice was allegedly heard, Khamenei did not attend the funeral ceremony in July.
