As consecutive explosions were heard in Ukraine's capital Kyiv early Tuesday, missile debris fell into a residential courtyard as a result of Russian attacks, and a fire broke out in a non-residential building in another area.

It was reported that explosions were heard early Tuesday in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, a situation also confirmed by a Reuters witness.

Missile Debris and Damage

According to statements made by authorities, missile debris fell into the courtyard of a residential building as a result of the attacks, and damage occurred at various points across the city.

It was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko that a non-residential building caught fire and was engulfed in flames in a different district of the city.

Toll of Previous Days

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in a statement on Monday that nine people lost their lives in Russian drone attacks across the country.

Zelenskiy also stated that more than eighty people were injured in attacks across the country, including Kyiv.
