An anonymous female farmer returning home from a party around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday noticed a large group of masked and hooded individuals inside three white vans acting suspiciously near the RAF Fairford base.
Security Vulnerability and Reporting Process
Surprised that the military base's security had failed to notice the suspicious group, the farmer contacted the police after failing to reach the UK Ministry of Defence, leading to the arrest of five individuals in the area following the tip.
Fleeing Suspects and Concerns
Stating that eight to ten people had fled the scene into a wooded area, while only five men in their twenties from London were captured, the farmer expressed that the delay allowed other suspects to escape.
