The organization invited Richmond Heights Mayor Kim Thomas and city officials to condemn the incident. Calls were also made for the police to take swift steps to bring the perpetrator to justice.

In a post on X by the Hindu American Foundation (HAF), it was stated that this potential hate crime occurred during a period of rising animosity toward the Hindu American community. HAF Executive Director Suhag Shukla also condemned the attack and demanded the apprehension of the perpetrator.
