Health Services Implemented in Communes
While periodic health check-ups are being expanded in Khoai Chau and Hung Ha communes, free eye examinations and chronic disease screenings are conducted for citizens.
Elderly Population and Pilot Projects in the Province
There are approximately 750,000 elderly people aged 60 and over across the province. Hung Yen province is piloting the World Health Organization's Integrated Care for Older People program.
2030 Targets and New Steps
The region is setting targets related to the elderly health program by 2030, taking steps such as free periodic health check-ups, management of non-communicable diseases, and the establishment of daycare facilities for the elderly.
