These developments took place within the framework of retaliatory operations by Tehran targeting American bases and assets in the region following the United States' recent attacks on Iran. Iranian Health Minister Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi announced that 18 people lost their lives in the US attacks that hit various provinces of the country on Tuesday.
