The Main Purpose of the Festival
Festival coordinator Jabar Sabir stated that the main purpose of the event is to emphasize the importance of books, the reading culture, and science through the art of cartoons.
Emphasis on the Book Festival
Using the slogan 'A Book Festival is a Festival of Life', the event conveys the message that a book is not merely made of pages, but serves as the primary source of knowledge, consciousness, and the values that build humanity.
The Memory of Mumtaz Haydari
In line with the value placed on the art of cartoons by writer Mumtaz Haydari, born in 1938 and dedicated to Kurdish culture and librarianship, one leg of the festival is dedicated to his artistic portraits.
Certificates for Participants
It was stated that digital certificates of participation will be presented to the owners of the works deemed worthy of exhibition as a result of evaluations.
