US Media Outlets Respond Jointly to White House Press Ban
Following the exclusion of certain news organizations from the White House, US television networks and media outlets have suspended their joint Trump coverage programs.
Leading US television networks and media organizations have decided to halt the joint Trump news-tracking system in protest against the barring of certain journalists from entering the White House.
White House Press Ban Decision
President Donald Trump had announced a ban targeting CNN, Politico, and MS NOW organizations, alleging that they produced untrue reports about the administration.
In line with this decision, reporters affiliated with these institutions were not permitted to enter the building as of the weekend.
Suspension of Joint Broadcasts
Upon this development, US television networks and media organizations announced that they were suspending their joint news-tracking and sharing activities.
Other major outlets, such as the New York Times and the Washington Post, also announced that they would not participate in joint filming and footage sharing at Trump events.

The three US organizations barred from these events announced they would file a lawsuit against the Trump administration in federal court to defend the principle that the government cannot decide what the press may report.
