Prepared specially for the 100th anniversary of the Koç Group and focusing on the cultural and artistic memory of the Republican era, the Traces of a Century: Koç Group and Art exhibition has opened its doors to visitors at Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts.
The Purpose and Focus of the Exhibition
Not treating the Koç Group's centenary story merely as a corporate history, the exhibition focuses on the rich cultural and artistic memory of Turkey as it transformed alongside the Republic.
Bringing art, architecture, publishing, collecting, and cultural history under one roof, the event offers visitors a comprehensive timeline.
Visit Information and Date Range
This special art event can be visited free of charge between April 8 and November 29, 2026, at the Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts building in Beyoğlu, Istanbul.
The exhibition can be visited every weekday between 10:00 and 19:00, on Saturdays between 11:00 and 19:00, and on Sundays between 12:00 and 19:00.
Curatorial and Preparation Team
Didem Yazıcı undertakes the curatorship of the comprehensive exhibition, while Zehra Begüm Kışla serves as the assistant curator.
Yeşim Demir Pöhl takes part in the event's design, Wendy Meryem Kural Shaw in its consultancy, and Zeynep Tibet in its research.
Source and Diversity of the Works
All the works, documents, and photographs featured in the exhibition were procured from Koç institutions, Arter, private collections, and the Yapı Kredi Historical Archive.
Invoices from the Alphabet Revolution period, early-period advertising posters, works by female artists, and contemporary art collections are exhibited together.
Highlighted Sections and Works
Visitors can closely examine commercial invoices belonging to the years 1927, 1933, and 1940, alongside Aygaz advertising posters signed by İhap Hulusi Görey.
In the section dedicated to female artists with positive discrimination, works by Mihri Müşfik, Müfide Kadri, Sabiha Bozcalı, and Aliye Berger are displayed.
