Changes in September producer and market prices and input costs were announced. According to the statements, eggplant was the product with the highest price increase in the market, dried beans saw the highest increase at the producer level, and the largest price gap was determined in lemons.

Price Gaps Between Producer and Market

It was announced that the highest price gap between the producer and the market last month was observed in lemons at a rate of 633.4 percent.

It was stated that this price gap in lemons was followed by products such as dried figs, carrots, apples, and parsley, respectively.

Products with Increasing and Decreasing Prices in the Market

In September, price increases were experienced in 25 out of 36 products in the market, while price decreases were recorded in 11 products.

While eggplant was the product with the highest price increase in the market at a rate of 26 percent, lemon experienced the largest decrease at 39.5 percent.

Changes in the Producer Market

It was stated that among the 28 products examined on the producer side, price increases occurred in 16 and price drops in 11.

While the highest price increase for producers took place in dried beans at 62.5 percent, the largest price drop was seen in dried figs.

Annual Increases in Input Costs

Touching upon price changes in input markets, it was reported that increases occurred in fertilizer varieties in September compared to August.

It was shared that on an annual basis, ammonium nitrate fertilizer increased by 69.2 percent and diesel prices by 70.7 percent.
