Iran and Oman Reach Consensus on Strait of Hormuz Revenue Sharing
An agency close to the Revolutionary Guards announced that the two countries have reached an agreement on strait revenue shares, while official authorities maintain a cautious approach.
In Iran, the Sepah News Agency, citing the Revolutionary Guards, reported that Iran and Oman have agreed on the share they will receive from Strait of Hormuz revenues.
Revenue Statement from the Revolutionary Guards
According to the Sepah News Agency, the Revolutionary Guards announced that an agreement has been reached regarding the share each country will receive from the strait waters, as well as the share Iran and Oman will take from the revenues.
The statement emphasized that results acceptable to both parties have been achieved, while providing information on the details of the negotiations.
Temporary Framework and Joint Talks
In a joint statement released on Tuesday, the foreign ministries of the two countries announced that they discussed a temporary framework aimed at resuming maritime traffic in the strait.
However, this joint statement avoided announcing a final agreement and did not mention any fee details.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has not yet confirmed the latest statement, while the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet commented on the matter.
The Closure Process of the Strait of Hormuz
The Strait of Hormuz, through which approximately one-fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas passes, has been closed since March in accordance with Iran's decision following the attacks on February 28.
