New additional fee regulation for electricity transmission tariff from EPDK
With the decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority, the details of the additional fee to be calculated over the TEİAŞ transmission tariff starting from 2027 have become clear.
According to the new regulation made by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority, an additional transmission fee at the rate of 7 per ten thousand of the TEİAŞ transmission tariff will be applied, effective from January 1, 2027.
Rate and Scope of the Additional Fee
According to the new regulation determined by EPDK, the additional transmission fee to be applied as of January 1, 2027, will be at the rate of 7 per ten thousand of the transmission tariff of Turkey Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ).
Payment Process and Calculation
Additional transmission fees will be calculated monthly by TEİAŞ and deposited into EPDK's account by the 25th of the following month. All payments will be made by TEİAŞ.
Effective Date and Details
It is not anticipated that the regulation in question will be reflected separately as a fee on consumers' electricity bills. The decision of EPDK will enter into force on January 1, 2027.
