A total of 77 new physician positions have been allocated to the province of Karabük within the scope of the 130th Term State Service Obligation Drawing of Lots conducted by the Ministry of Health.

A total of 77 new physician positions were allocated to Karabük within the scope of the 130th Term State Service Obligation Drawing of Lots carried out by the Ministry of Health.

While 8 of the announced positions consist of specialist physicians and 69 of general practitioners, it was stated that this development will strengthen the province's healthcare infrastructure.

Distribution of Specialist Physician Positions

One specialist physician position each was allocated to Karabük Education and Research Hospital in the branches of geriatrics, chest diseases, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, nuclear medicine, emergency medicine, and dermatology and venereology.

A specialist physician position in the branch of physical medicine and rehabilitation was allocated to Safranbolu State Hospital.

Physician Positions for the Center and Districts

It was reported that the 69 allocated physician positions will be assigned to healthcare institutions in the center and districts of Karabük.

Within this scope, 27 physician positions were given to Karabük Education and Research Hospital, 10 to Safranbolu State Hospital, and 7 to Yenice District State Hospital.

Assignments in Other Districts and Institutions

It was announced that 5 physician positions were allocated to Eskipazar District State Hospital and 4 to Eflani District State Hospital.

It was stated that the remaining positions will be employed in community health centers, the Provincial Health Directorate, emergency health services stations, and the command and control center.
