Cooperation Protocol Between Trakya University and the Ministry of Health of Kosovo

A protocol has been signed in Edirne between Trakya University and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kosovo aimed at training healthcare professionals and improving services.
Scope of the Protocol and Signing Ceremony
A strategic cooperation protocol was implemented in Edirne between Trakya University and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kosovo within the scope of the 'Bridges of Brotherhood' project.
With the signing ceremony held at the Balkan Congress Center Senate Hall, the official partnership between the parties was finalized.
Protocol Members Attending the Ceremony
Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Fikrim Damka, and Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler attended the signing ceremony.
Additionally, Consul General of the Republic of Kosovo in Istanbul Dren Zeka, vice rectors, and numerous academics were present at the ceremony.
Statements by Governor Yunus Sezer
Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer stated that the city has very strong ties with the Balkans due to its historical mission.
Sezer expressed pride in sharing Turkey's resources with his brothers in the region and wished for this work to spread to other Balkan countries as well.
Evaluation by Deputy Prime Minister Damka
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Fikrim Damka emphasized that the implementation of agreements between the two countries in the field is of vital importance.
Damka conveyed that thanks to this protocol, doctors, academics, experts, and nurses from Kosovo will directly benefit from the accumulated expertise of Trakya University.
Views of Rector Hatipler and Dr. Shefkiu
Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler stated that they aim to share their knowledge and experience in the field of health with Kosovo.
Dr. Ardian Shefkiu, Director of the Health Unit of the Kosovo Hospital, Clinic, and University Service, stated that this cooperation will contribute to the development of healthcare workers.
Hospital Inspection and Final Phase
Following the speeches, the protocol was officially signed by Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler and Dr. Ardian Shefkiu.
After the signing ceremony, the delegation inspected the ongoing renovation works at the Trakya University Hospital Emergency Department on-site.
