European Mobility Week events kicked off in Bursa

Events planned for European Mobility Week under the leadership of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality began with an opening program held at Hüdavendigar City Park.

Start at Hüdavendigar City Park

The events prepared under the coordination of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department and in cooperation with the Bursa City Council were implemented at Hüdavendigar City Park.

Within the scope of the Step by Step Mobility for Everyone program, walking, cycling, and zumba activities were carried out, and numerous citizens and politicians attended the program.

Back to the Street Event for Children

Within the scope of European Mobility Week, a special gathering was also organized for children at the Children's Play Street in Eğitim Vadisi.

Thanks to the event named Bringing Play to the Street, young participants both had fun and gained an awareness of an active lifestyle.

Schedule for the Coming Days

The events will continue without slowing down with various organizations to be held at different points throughout the week.

On Sunday, September 20, the A Car-Free Day, An Active City event will take place on Atatürk Street.

Intergenerational Workshop

An important academic and social meeting that will bring together different age groups is planned within the scope of the activities.

On Monday, September 21, the Intergenerational Mobility Workshop will be held at the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.
