Established within the body of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the Izmir Health and Wellness Centers continue to provide free health services for children, adolescents, and adults at five different points across the city.
Service at Five Different Locations
The Izmir Health and Wellness Centers, launched by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, operate at five distinct locations: Küçük Çiğli, Nergiz, Karabağlar Yurdoğlu Disabled Services Center, Konak Center, and Talatpaşa.
Physical and Mental Support
To support the physical and mental well-being of the people of Izmir, İZSEM offers numerous comprehensive health services free of charge and open to everyone, targeting children, adolescents, and adults.
Specialized Services Offered
According to information shared by İZSEM Officer Dr. Hilal Sipahi, important services such as family and couples therapy, psychological support, and dietitian and nutrition counseling are provided at the centers.
Special Studies and Tests
While diabetes studies are conducted at the Diabetes Awareness Center in Nergiz, anonymous testing and counseling services for HIV and sexually transmitted diseases are provided at the Voluntary Counseling and Testing Center in Küçük Çiğli and Konak Center.
Exercise and Appointment Process
While pilates, yoga, and exercise services are also offered within the center in Küçük Çiğli, citizens wishing to benefit from these services can make an appointment by calling the 153 Citizen Communication Center.
