Stating that women and children are being ruthlessly killed, Memişoğlu emphasized the grim realities where innocent people cannot even access essential medicines and vaccines.

Emphasizing that health is one of the most fundamental human rights, Minister Memişoğlu stated that global health security cannot be spoken of in a world where access to treatment is unavailable.

Pointing out the devastating effects of wars and conflicts on health systems, he said that injustices in access to services must be eliminated.

Minister Memişoğlu shared Turkey's struggle during the Covid-19 pandemic and the experiences gained during this period with the international public.

He stated that no citizen was left without treatment thanks to a strong healthcare infrastructure and that Turkey transformed its capabilities into international solidarity.

Noting that pandemics are a shared responsibility of global health security, Memişoğlu announced that these tests can only be overcome by acting together.
