Remote Patient Evaluation System Launched in Diyarbakır
A video support period has begun in Diyarbakır for citizens in rural areas and individuals with disabilities who have difficulty accessing healthcare services.
The remote patient evaluation system, introduced for citizens in rural areas and individuals with disabilities who experience difficulties in accessing healthcare services, enables people to receive support via screen.
Scope of the Application and Services Provided
Thanks to the remote patient evaluation system implemented in Diyarbakır, citizens have the opportunity to conduct video calls with psychologists, dietitians, smoking cessation clinic physicians, and social workers.
Appointment Process and Connection via SMS
It is first evaluated whether individuals who want to benefit from the system are eligible to receive remote services. Those found eligible can make an appointment through MHRS or via Healthy Life Centers. The interview is initiated with the SMS link sent to the mobile phone at the appointment time.
The Purpose of Removing Location and Geography Barriers
Psychologist Süheyla Verim Azyoksul emphasized that the main purpose of the system is to facilitate access to healthcare services without location and geography barriers. The application offers great convenience for those living in rural areas and those with limited mobility.
