The vandalism and environmental pollution carried out by unidentified person or persons at İki Eylül Park in the Odunpazarı district of Eskişehir drew public backlash after a citizen recorded it with a mobile phone camera and shared it on social media.

Vandalism at the Park

İki Eylül Park, located within the boundaries of Büyükdere Neighborhood in the Odunpazarı district, became the target of unidentified person or persons, resulting in material damage to the facility.

During inspections, it was clearly observed that the gazebos within the park were damaged and the table sections were completely broken, rendering them unusable.

Environmental Pollution and Social Media Backlash

Recording the negative scenery with a mobile phone camera, a citizen named Sade Aslan drew attention to the environmental pollution created by packaging and cigarette butts left around, alongside the vandalism.

Stating that the municipality is carrying out efforts to improve and protect the park, Aslan emphasized that some individuals remain insensitive to these efforts and shared her reaction on her social media account.
