New Sports Complex Opens in Çayırova, Kocaeli
The sports complex built in Çayırova, Kocaeli, is opening its doors to sports fans with an official ceremony to be held on Sunday, September 13.
The modern sports complex implemented in Kocaeli's Çayırova district is officially entering service with a ceremony to be held on Sunday, September 13, at 2:00 PM. The opening of the facility will be crowned with an exhibition match to be played against the Galatasaray MCT Technic team.
Location and Opening Date of the Facility
Brought to the district by Çayırova Mayor Bünyamin Çiftçi in the Atatürk Neighborhood, the new sports complex was built to strengthen the region's sports infrastructure. The official opening ceremony of the facility will take place on Sunday, September 13, at 2:00 PM.
FIBA Standard Basketball Court
The basketball court, which forms one of the most striking parts of the complex, was designed in accordance with FIBA standards. Having a spectator capacity of three thousand five hundred, this court was built with the equipment to host international-level competitions.
Versatile Training Halls
Standing out with its modern architecture and large usage areas, the facility features athlete rooms, nine different training halls, and a fitness room. The infrastructure was planned in a way to allow working in nine different sports branches simultaneously.
The New Home of the Basketball Team
It was reported that the new sports complex will also be the new home court of the Çayırova Municipality Basketball Team, which will compete in the Basketball Super League this season. The facility has the capacity to meet the training and match needs of professional teams.
First Match and Galatasaray Game
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the facility will host a major organization. The first excitement of the complex will be experienced with an exhibition match to take place between Çayırova Municipality and Galatasaray MCT Technic teams.
