Popular sneaker marketplace Laced enters administration
With an eleven-year history, rare sneaker platform Laced has decided to cease operations and handed over its management to administrators.
Laced, one of the leading representatives of the rare and high-demand sneaker market, has entered administration after 11 years of operation, with administrators appointed to manage its affairs.
Appointment of Administrators and Process
In the liquidation process accelerated by the appointment of administrators, Terri Mulgrew and Michael Kiely from Quantuma Advisory Limited were appointed as joint administrators of the Laced platform as of September 22.
Platform Closure Schedule
Although the company's mobile application and website continue to operate temporarily, it was announced that the platform, founded in 2015, will remain open for only a few more weeks before shutting down completely.
Companies House and Dissolution Process
Companies House records show an active proposal to strike off the company, and unless cause is shown to the contrary, Laced will be struck off the register completely no earlier than two months from September 29, 2026.
Status of Assets
In the event of the company's dissolution, all assets and rights will pass directly to the Crown as bona vacantia, and the transfer of assets remains a possibility.
