TFF Statement on MHK and Referee Appointments Announced
Following the arrest of Central Referee Board President Ferhat Gündoğdu, the Turkish Football Federation has determined the appointment committee that will officiate Ziraat Turkish Cup matches until a new board is elected.
Following the judiciary process conducted based in Istanbul and the arrest of Central Referee Board President Ferhat Gündoğdu, the Turkish Football Federation announced the names that will carry out referee appointments for the Ziraat Turkish Cup matches.
Judiciary Process and Arrests
Within the scope of the investigation into referees in Istanbul, Central Referee Board President Ferhat Gündoğdu, along with Emre Kosif, Ferdi Karadoruk, Yunus Yıldırım, and Alican Sağlar, were arrested.
Individuals Subject to Judicial Control
Within the framework of the ongoing judiciary process, it was decided to release 4th Region Responsible Sebahattin Şahin and Ahmet Şahin under judicial control measures.
Temporary Referee Appointments
The appointment committee that will serve during the transition period until a new Central Referee Board is formed was shared with the public by the Turkish Football Federation.
Officials to Serve
The referee appointments for the Ziraat Turkish Cup matches to be played on October 6, 7, and 8 will be carried out by MHK Vice President Hikmet Öksüzoğlu and members Ali Zağlı, Kamil Abitoğlu, İbrahim Çınar, and Ziya Çetin.
