23rd International Konya Mystical Music Festival Begins with 99 Whirling Dervishes

The 23rd International Konya Mystical Music Festival began with the "Sema ya Sela Niyaz Mukabelesi" event held at Mevlana Square. At the opening, 99 whirling dervishes performed the Ayini Şerif.
Start of the Festival and Whirling Dervishes
Organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Konya Metropolitan Municipality, the 23rd International Konya Mystical Music Festival began at Mevlana Square. During the opening "Sema ya Sela Niyaz Mukabelesi" event, 99 whirling dervishes performed the Ayini Şerif.
Concerts and Event Schedule
Within the scope of the events organized under the theme "Human at the Heart of Music", artist Ender Balkır gave an "Acoustic Folk Songs" concert at the Kültürpark Amphitheater. On the opening night of the festival, the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Band and Mehter Team took the stage at the Selçuklu Congress Center with the "Epic Folk Songs" concert.
End Date of the Festival
Meeting with art lovers in Konya and hosting a rich cultural program, the 23rd International Konya Mystical Music Festival will continue until September 30.
