Strategic Partnership Talks Continue Between OYAK and Saudi Aramco
OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş announced that discussions for a strategic partnership with energy giant Saudi Aramco are ongoing and the process will be finalized shortly.
During a press conference held in Istanbul, OYAK General Manager Murat Yalçıntaş shared the institution's financial data and future strategies. Yalçıntaş confirmed that the strategic partnership negotiations being conducted with Saudi Aramco, which operates in the energy sector, are expected to conclude by the end of the year or early next year.
Strategic Cooperation in the Energy Sector
The inspections conducted by Saudi Aramco executives at GüzelEnerji's facilities in Aliağa, Samsun, and Gebze have strengthened partnership claims between the two institutions. Yalçıntaş stated that the talks are progressing positively and will be clarified soon.
Financial Growth and Performance
In the first half of 2026, OYAK increased its consolidated revenue to 418 billion liras and its net profit by 66 percent to 83 billion liras. The institution's total asset size reached 1 trillion 847 billion liras.
While GüzelEnerji's consolidated revenue in the first half was recorded at 112.3 billion liras, MAİS, operating in the automotive sector, achieved a 13.9 percent market share with 100,256 units sold in the first 8 months of the year.
Tekfen Holding and Future Goals
A major investment for OYAK in 2026, a 42.8 percent stake in Tekfen Holding was transferred to ON Investment B.V. This move aims to integrate Tekfen's engineering and construction experience into OYAK.
Operating with 189 companies across 30 countries, including Turkey, OYAK plans to take more of its subsidiaries public in the upcoming period.
